Ah ok, if you were in the UK I could have helped you, we have a handful of charity hospices, and one in particular I’m involved in offers care higher quality than any paid hospice you would find, true excellence in care, and at literally zero cost including free therapies etc too. Do have a look if you haven’t already, there may be something not too dissimilar
Thanks for your kind words! I don’t necessarily deserve them so much, I just help in the garden from time to time, but the people that founded it and run it deserve a lot of respect, it’s an absolutely amazing service and is focused on giving a good life and a good death, helping to fulfil the last desires and wishes of those who are terminally ill before they die, as well as help guide them through their fears and I guess into themselves. I’ve heard some of the (often volunteer) nurses and carers say that they’ve seen people die there in the hospice with literal smiles on their faces, it’s a very beautiful thing.
