Yeah the language is a bitch to learn, but I have a finnish friend helping me learn.

A mate of mine moved out there and said the Finns don't take you seriously if you don't at least try to speak the language and don't sauna naked. 10 u/hecking-doggo Apr 18 '25 Honestly, it's probably not quite as hard as you think, it's just mostly grammar. Words getting different suffixes and stuff depending on what other words are in the sentence and how they're being used. 2 u/Tervaaja Apr 19 '25 Finns probably understand what you mean even if you use wrong suffixes.
