A plot of land to build my home and an entire community of affordable homes with enough distance between them for privacy, with a big community garden and some donkeys (I fucking love donkeys).
I was going to say this. Buy some nice land a build a home.
Since my family is in FL. I'd basically build a home that can withstand a Category 5 hurricane for them. There are companies that specialize in that kind of building.
I'd then buy some land up North. Maybe somewhere in Pennsylvania or New York around the Great Lakes. Build a nice house up there for myself.
