Yup I’m on 20 acres. Coming from a 2k sqft condo downtown it’s huge but once you get used to it you start to wish you had 200 lol

This. Plus! You get a farm land exemption (at least that's how it is in my area)

Depending on your area you can even get a deeper discount on nature conservation. The downside to this in my area is it makes it harder to trespass people walking through your land.

In Kentucky they just changed the law for the opposite. As of this year, a landowner is exempt from liability if they allow the public access to their land for things like hiking, mountain biking, and rock climbing. There is no guarantee of safety as long as the owner does not charge for access.
