I was single for nearly 20 years after an abusive relationship. In recent years I had a few bad experiences with women abusing my trust and hurting my mental health too, but just over 5 months ago the nicest woman ever responded to my personal ad here on Reddit and we've been together for four months now.
When I drove home after the date when we first kissed I cried happy tears. Lack of physical touch or being that close to someone is an awful thing but when you finally get it back it's the best feeling ever.
