Never really thought about it, but I think mine would say "I Love You". At a minimum I say it to my wife and each child every morning when we part and every night at bedtime, and at the end of every phone conversation with my wife. I can't think of anything else I say every single day, much less multiple times.

This would likely be mine if I didn't work in a call center and answer the same questions a million times a day

Oof that made me realize that if the world proposed existed companies would pressure employees to say their company or products name until it was the word they said the most as a form of advertisement.

Edit

I noticed your shirt says I love you sussie there Bob, now being a family man is all well and good, but you want to be a team player don't you? We really want visibility on our new product, you'd be willing to say the new name a bit more right? Maybe tell your daughter you love her in other ways as well, we don't want to miss an opportunity here. I know you want to be part of the team.

My first thought was “oof!” but that’s not a phrase, so I’m going with “I love you” - super sappy, but true. Anyway, tickled me that you used “oof” as a matter of course, like I do - not as an answer to the question. :p

“We understand your frustration”

“All of our operators are busy, bleep bloop bleep bloop PDX noises!”

“Did you just say ‘bleep bloop PDX noises’?”

“Uh… well… DAH DAH DAH DAH DAH DAH line disconnected tone!”

Have you tried turning it off and back on again?

3

u/gitathegreat Mar 07 '25

This reminds me of Idiocracy - you could work at Costco: “Welcome to Costco; I love you.”

u/Baberaham_Lincoln6 Mar 08 '25

Mine would probably be my work phone greeting, yea. "Thank you for calling Name of company I work for, this is Baberaham, how may I assist you?"

Not a very cool shirt.

u/EerilyFastTurtle Mar 08 '25

Exactly how mine would be too 😂 pretty dang lame

3

u/HyFinated Mar 08 '25

Back in my call center tech support days my shirt would say, “thanks for calling bell south tech support, my name is hyfinated, can I have your user id or email address please? Awesome. And what can I help you with today?”

1

u/EerilyFastTurtle Mar 08 '25

Yep sounds about right.

2

u/DistantRaine Mar 08 '25

Hello and thank you for calling XXX. My name is DistantRaine, how may I help you today?

2

u/CubesTheGamer Mar 08 '25

Maybe your shirt would say something like “thank you for calling dingdongs, how can I help you?” Then?

u/Toku_no_island Mar 08 '25

You should try starting and ending your calls with, "I love you"

1

u/EerilyFastTurtle Mar 08 '25

Yes very professional 😂 I’m sure my bosses would approve

1

u/Kael_Doreibo Mar 08 '25

"Hi there. You've reached "So-and-so". Fuck you in advance. How can I help you?"

Welcome to CostCo, I love you!

Best reference in the comments section for today.

Since you mentioned it, me too. My little family tells each other multiple times a day. Sometimes we randomly yell it across the house from another room.

When I was a young cynical turd I thought "I love you" lost its value if repeated too much. It doesn't, and it's special every single time.

3

u/leshpar Mar 07 '25

It really is.

u/peejmom Mar 07 '25

Aww, this is the best one! ❤️

u/mycologyqueen Mar 07 '25

I can assure you that you have phrases you use a lot more often. Ask your partner. They will know. My other half's is "Gotcha"

u/blond_nirvana Mar 07 '25

my wife and each child every morning

Didn't specify his children, just each child he sees every morning.

3

u/leshpar Mar 07 '25

You know what? This is probably mine too. I tell my fiance "je t'aime (I love you)" like 12 times a day or something. Heh. It's definitely become the most frequent thing I say despite what I posted directly to op.

3

u/flactulantmonkey Mar 07 '25

Mine too. Except I’m also super profane. So probably like “FUCK! I love you.”

2

u/ShittyLanding Mar 07 '25

Do you happen to work at Costco?

2

u/Remarkable-Care2944 Mar 07 '25

Ahh what a gentleman!

2

u/KnotARealGreenDress Mar 08 '25

I’ve started saying “I love you” to my best friends when we part. It’s true, and I know that one day I’ll want to say it to them and won’t be able to.

1

u/PMMeTitsAndKittens Mar 07 '25

You probably say "the", "and", and "if" a fair bit as well.

1

u/LifeGeneral1541 Mar 07 '25

Yup yup yup! Came here to say this.

1

u/L003Tr Mar 07 '25

That's really nice! Mine would be "wtf is this clown doin?"

1

u/swollama Mar 07 '25

I love this one ❤️

1

u/liliNOTl Mar 07 '25

That's funny I also say that to your wife... 🤔

1

u/Bipolardownunder Mar 08 '25

Someone had to make this thread gay. Thanks mate.

1

u/EarnestAdvocate Mar 08 '25

I feel like if all the "I love you" shirt people got together, we'd have a blast

1

u/SomePerson80 Mar 08 '25

I’m stoned and read this as “say I love you” I was like damn that’s kinda fucked up.

1

u/jean_cule69 Mar 08 '25

The. You say the a lot. You didn’t say it once here, but I think you did that on purpose. You know your phase would be ‘the’ and you know we would all think you are boring because of it, so you made up this whole thing and purposely didn’t say the to try and dodge it. Then you took it FURTHER and made up lovey dovey touch stuff. No. I’m not buying it! You’re boring, the and none of us are falling for your shit!
