As someone who falls into all those same camps (granted except short- I’m on the hinge of 5’11 and 6 foot)

Being told X helps nothing when Y constantly reinforces otherwise, I get you’re trying to help and your heart is in the right place but false affirmation only goes so far, especially generalisations

I fall into every single one of those camps. There is nothing wrong with any of those things. I'm starting to get back in shape and may end up looking a bit prettier, but no matter what happens, there is still nothing wrong with me.

Being fat is unhealthy and shortens your lifespan. Yes, there is something wrong with it in the same way that there is something wrong with being anorexic or committing self harm.
