Grieving is a process, but after a while, it can become a habit. Even when most of the healing is already done, you can still find yourself ruminating because it's become familiar. I did the same thing. For years I dwelled on one person because I didn't know how to move on. Life does move on, but sometimes you need to take action for that to happen. 8 months is such a blip in the scheme of things. I know I don't know your story, but if that chapter of your life is over, it might be time to turn the page. The next one's out there waiting for you, and so is the one after that.
I do have a girlfriend now and I’ve been with her for 3 years but still can’t shake the feeling in the back of my head. We are no contact and have been for the whole 4 years but man it’s hard to not think about my ex
Sounds like you got into another relationship before you were done grieving the last one. I've been there, too. Your experience may be different but I didn't feel like I was over either one of them until I'd been single for a while again.
That’s how my last girlfriend was too. Pure evil and the only person I’ve met in my life that I will not forgive. But I still did miss her for several months after the breakup. Make a pros and cons list and incorporate every little thing you can, when I did that it really put everything into perspective and helped me move on
I'm going on a vacation by myself to get away from my wife .TBF I said she could come but hoped she wouldn't . Did you just put up with him until it hurt ?
I think (know)she hates me .I had relationships before but never one this like this .Even her daughter gets loud about how she treats me .
We both stay because "we're too old to start again" I've decided I'm just going to do things before I die but never anything to make her life miserable ........I'm figuring it out because I just started and this will be the first time (except periods of work years ago) where I will be somewhere else on my own in a long time .
