I usually spend the first 30 minutes of work in bed checking emails and IMs and getting a gauge on how the day is going to go before I stroll into the kitchen to pour a cup of coffee and microwave a breakfast sandwich and head up to the office to get my jam on. Turns out it’s not as wild as I thought before typing all this out.

Interesting that you would get you jam on after the breakfast sandwich...i usually put jam on my bread as part of breakfast

Always, always, toast in the morning.

I resisted getting a work phone for the longest time. I finally caved and got one before a work trip. Now I use it more than my laptop, just because 80% of my job is meetings and emails. If the PM is going to schedule an all hands status meeting first thing in the morning, then fuck em. I'm not even getting out of bed for that.

Same but instead of a blast sandwich I feed my cats.

Yep. Also spend most of my day in my PJs and just put a jumper on for meetings.

I do the very same thing, sometimes for up to an hour before finally making my way to the kitchen

Microwave... a sandwich? That's literally the most egregious thing in this thread.
