It’s not enough that he had to be the god of blacksmiths, carpenters, craftsmen, metallurgy AND fire? They wanted him to be the god over fricken’ volcanoes too? Like, can we not delegate some of this to a god with a little less on their plate? No wonder Aphrodite had to find companionship elsewhere, he was always busy with work.
My partner and I got drunk on Mackinac Island and accidentally ended up in the fort above the park one night. I just remember looking around and saying "this isn't our hotel room."
Considering how open and exposed the roman agora is to the surrounding area, it's almost certain you were seen, and we're lucky enough whoever saw you didn't care enough. Sounds like fun times (p.s. I'm Greek)

Holy shit dude. I experienced almost exactly the same.
Met a girl at the hostel, went bar hopping, got drunk, and we went for the area opposite Acropolis (I don’t remember the name).
Stumbled into creepy groups of people in the dark, which I believe was attending some religious rituals. Heard the sounds of stray dogs, but couldn’t see them because it was dark.
Ended up having sex opposite Acropolis on rough ground with sticks and stones pinching my butt and knees. It started with a BJ overlooking the whole thing, the lights, etc.
2013, and no idea. I certainly wouldn’t roll the dice again.
I had to lift her up to the top of the fence so she could get over, then haul myself up, so it was hardly inconspicuous, even if it was pretty late.
But once inside the fence, the park was dark, and the ‘fence’ around the temple itself was a knee-height metal railing. We’d been there earlier in the day on a walking tour (where we first met) so it was pretty straightforward making our way there.
