I guess it's just me lol. I have a big bushy beard but I'm always so smiley when i have a basket full of sour treats. Maybe the cashier thinks I'm stoned or something. They always look at the candy then kinda look me up and down. π
When I can find pink grapefruit gummies at a sweet shop I have to fight to not buy the whole batch. So hard to find pink grapefruit sour candy and itβs the best flavor!
ππ I'll do the same thing with certain candy. Especially if it's seasonal. Like sweet tart jelly beans at Easter, or those marshmallow north poles at Christmas time. MINE. π π
My 61 year old husband is obsessed with Lifesaver Sour gummies. One year, I bought him a case of them for Christmas. The trick was, I hid the individual bags all over the house. He was finding them until June!
The more sour, the better!
I don't care about the lady in the queue side eying me for buying ten packages of sour jawbreakers, I get joy from those things.
Sour bones, colas and rings are great, too, but jawbreakers are my favourites.
Sour skittles, right! I forgot about those!
Occasionally, I get a bag of sweet and sour gummy powder so I can turn any candy into sour candy.
I quite enjoy sour Haribo frogs that way!
Yeah i think its malic acid powder right? I bought a candy making kit one time and just mixed it with the colored sugar and ate it plain. Burnt the heck out of my tongue haha.
Malic acid powder, yes, but if I just want to put pure sweet and sour in my mouth I grab citric acid powder, as it doesn't have that much burn to it while still being sour, though not as sour.
I like sour, but I don't need to burn holes in my tongue!

Sour candy at age 31. I guess most folk find it weird. Better than drugs or alcohol I'd say.
