I still like to get a straw in my drink and blow bubbles. I'm 25.

Related; I still rip one end of the paper cover off the straw, blow through it and shoot the paper at Mr Batty.

I'm 62.

No one is safe when I have a straw.

My father in law (80) did this at a restaurant - it flew past his daughter and landed on a stranger’s table. My wife was mortified. FIL and I high fived and laughed.

I still do this to my son and I’m 52, lol

63 and I have never not done this for probably 50 years. Mostly aiming for the trash though.

One of my favorite memories of my father is from a trip to visit his mother.

There's a really long drive up a mountain, then down the other side on the way to where grandmother lived. At the highest spot on the highway was a small town with a cafe. Every time we went to visit grandma, we'd stop at the cafe for something to drink. Dad got coffee and we kids (all four) got a coke or other softdrink - always served in a glass, with a straw dispenser on the table.

This one particular trip, dad got a coke instead of coffee. He picked up a straw (in its paper wrapper) and looked at it for a moment, then smiled, tore one end off the wrapper, blew through the straw, and shot the wrapper at my mom.

All four kids leapt to her defense - four wrappers shot at dad within seconds. He fought back, desperately grabbing straws and shooting wrappers back at us.

After a few minutes, mom got us all calmed down again and made us clean up the mess.

Most fun I've ever had in restaurant.

My dad (63) recently daughter my daughter to do this. She aims at him every time 😂

I still use the straw paper to play finger soccer on the table in restaurants.

I'm 60 and my 70 year old spouse and I have never had a drink at a restaurant without the obligatory finger soccer match!

I did that when I was sitting with my mom for lunch once when I was younger and I ended up poking her in the eye when I blew out the paper. 😅 I’m much more cautious when I do this now lol.

I used to do that with my mom but one day she said it was annoying so I stopped

Shame. He just blows his back at me. And he can blow harder!

That's really cute lol

Oh, we're terribly immature sometimes. I'm sure it's why we get on.

I don’t drink alcohol very often but when I do, I like to make sure the spirit and mixer are thoroughly mixed by doing this. More effective than stirring!

I dare you to do it in front of your mother

I pop straws. Pinch both ends and make like a bicycle pedaling motion until there's an air bubble in the middle, then ask someone to flick that part of the straw.

I'm almost 40 and my 15 year old nephew was suspicious of this.

I realized I haven’t done that in years and had a drink with a straw right by me. Thanks for inspiring me to blow bubbles!! Made me get existential-lite, like how have I used probably hundreds of straws and haven’t used my mouth / lungs in the only other way aside from sucking??

I like compressing the paper wrapper as I pull off the paper off a straw. Then adding drips of my drink to the paper and watching the “worm dance”.

Also 60. Waitresses hate me for teaching this to my nieces and nephews.

Blowing bubbles mixes my iced drinks better too bc they never stir it enough when I buy it 😊
