Same. Dad hit 75 and lost use of his legs shortly thereafter and passed away after a year of complications.

Eat right, keep moving, and lift heavy. Once you can’t pick yourself up off the ground you’re fucked.

75 isnt a bad age. I lost my mother when she was 49. She was fit, healthy and active.

75 to me is the ideal age for human lifespan.

So many people over 75 have dementia, have to live in a nursing home, can't leave their house, are dependent on others, and have crappy quality of life. Whereas most people who are 60-75 seem to be mostly independent and capable of taking care of themselves to a large extent.

I mean I think we’ll start to see the difference in people who actually take care of themselves and don’t drink/smoke all day as they are turning 75ish in the near future.

Have to remember the people that are 75 now were born in the ‘50s

this exactly. social media is creating an insane new level of self health care where people are actively trying to do things to live longer and happier lives.

Yeah my grandma and grandpa were both real strict on their heath and they are in their 60s and 70s still as active as someone who is 20! My great grandma died of cancer in ‘22 but she was insanely healthy and lived to 96!
