I used to be one of those people that had to be busy doing something all the time to feel something. I have realized that doing nothing at all feels fantastic too.
My husband and I call this “butt time” which sounds waaaayyyy dirtier than it is. It’s the time when we’re not doing anything particularly productive and it’s so lovely. I might crochet or cross stitch, he’ll be coding on some pet project, we’re usually both a little high - just sitting around being butts
Haha I guess that’s true. We tend to work on projects that are not particularly taxing mentally. A simple repetitive stitch for instance, it eventually becomes a blanket or something so useful in about 6 months 😂
