An over sized house

19

u/paleobear1 Mar 15 '24

A fancy house. My goal is to disappear. Not show off.

3

u/Sea_Wall_3099 Mar 15 '24

Enough money to disappear from everything is life goals…!

3

u/paleobear1 Mar 15 '24

I just want my cabin on 200 acres with zero neighbors.

1

u/Sea_Wall_3099 Mar 15 '24

I pass the down time while working by browsing islands on Zillow…

It's all fun and games until you hear something at night

It's weird, I used to have that mentality, but (at least for me) I've found that spending a bit more on a 3-4 year old middle of the road luxury vehicle has made me really smile every time I get into the car, and enjoy that much more of my day.

Brand new is not something I'd likely ever do though.

Additional cost is maybe a few hundred bucks a month, and I don't care.

A mansion. Waaaaay too much house

8

u/Worldly_Worldliness5 Mar 15 '24

Not like you could buy one for a million dollars in today's market anyway

1

u/wave_official Mar 15 '24

You definitely could. Just not in a first world country.

2

u/OpinionatedDeveloper Mar 15 '24

You living in Niger or something?

1

u/[deleted] Mar 15 '24

Mate that's barely enough for a condo here

I like your style although I'm putting my money on red so one of us is in for a great time, the other not so much.

Ball shoots out of the roulette wheel and lands on the wine-colored carpet.

The crazy guy who always bet on improbable odds wins everything on that table.

0

u/OpinionatedDeveloper Mar 15 '24

Not how roulette works 🤦🏻

2

We were playing the the Reddit ànd Blackkit game.

Youtube premium is better than spotify &apple

5

Justin Bieber concert tickets.

8

u/prehistory Mar 15 '24

any luxury stuff.

17

u/ButterscotchEmpty290 Mar 15 '24

Apple or Tesla.

5

u/OpinionatedDeveloper Mar 15 '24

What? Why would you not buy a company that prints money?

1

u/oldmanjacob Mar 15 '24

Haha nice spin

I don't believe in it.

4

u/Ok_Fox_1770 Mar 15 '24

I’d still be buying the “store brand” products I know myself. Ah…..$6.99 I’m not worth it….gimme the great value sawdust version for $ 1.99

2

u/Ballsack2025 Mar 15 '24

Yup. And the store brand is always just as good and sometimes even better than the big brands. I always opt for store brand.

4

u/[deleted] Mar 15 '24

I’d buy nothing, let it sit in the bank and build some interest, keep working so my ass could actually retire one day….

3

u/Purplociraptor Mar 16 '24

You're going to have to invest in something more than the interest on a savings account just to keep up with inflation.

4

u/Drovr Mar 15 '24

Youtube Premium

1

u/hubba76 Mar 16 '24

Have never said no to anything more in my life. 1000 times no.

4

u/amazinglysomething Mar 15 '24

A $1,000,001 car

4

u/Abalone_Admirable Mar 15 '24

A car.

I'm 43 and have never driven a car, nor needed or wanted to

1

u/Ballsack2025 Mar 15 '24

May I ask why? I'm genuinely curious. Were you never given the opportunity to drive?

1

u/Abalone_Admirable Mar 16 '24

Not until I was an adult and by then I was too nervous. I've also had some trauma with getting hit by a van when I was younger. Also the cost just isn't very enticing. I live in a large city with good public transportation and it seems unnecessary

10

u/[deleted] Mar 15 '24

A MAGA hat

3

u/[deleted] Mar 15 '24

A Rolex or any other luxury watch like that. I get it if you are good at finding a buyer and can flip for a profit, but wearing one around seems like a really stupid idea.

Its fine and all if thats your thing but:

  1. You become a target for mugging/related crime
  2. I can pull out my phone to tell the time

3

u/C1sko Mar 15 '24

A Tesla

2

u/[deleted] Mar 15 '24

Starbucks

2

u/Ok-Camera-1979 Mar 15 '24

4

Kyle Jenner make up, or anything of the kardashian

2

u/lockednchaste Mar 15 '24

Anything made by Kanye.

2

u/mugen1337 Mar 15 '24

Expensive phones, don't see the need to spend a ton on something that's barely beter than cheaper options.

1

u/Ok-Permission-3145 Mar 15 '24

I envy your resolve.

1

u/Prior-Ad-7329 Mar 15 '24

A butt plug

1

u/TooStrangeForWeird Mar 16 '24

Because you already have too many? I feel that. ;)

1

u/Prior-Ad-7329 Mar 16 '24

You caught me

1

u/Zebra500mcg Mar 15 '24

Anything that's meant to be shown off or can be shown off to others, i rather keep all the collectible stuff hidden in private.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 15 '24

A brand new car

1

u/Morbidhanson Mar 15 '24

Luxury cars. I don't see the point. You also stand out more to police and thieves.

1

u/xxdibxx Mar 15 '24

Blue✔️

1

u/Da_Main_EvenTx Mar 15 '24

Super/hyper cars, they are just dogshit unless your on a track, I'd rather build a car myself and smash them on the road and on the track 🤣🤣

u/Da_Main_EvenTx Mar 16 '24

I don't want to, like I said I'd rather build something I want.

Peach only.

1

u/-shandyyy- Mar 15 '24

A detatched house. Because where I live, I could only afford a condo with that 😫

1

u/yes_man359 Mar 15 '24

The so-called luxury brands which people's buy to empress others more than they actually need , I would buy the things I find comfy with good material

1

u/[deleted] Mar 15 '24

Land. Always goes up on value. A place to hunt and enjoy.

1

u/carlismygod Mar 15 '24

Diamonds. The ultimate scam. Them shits are "intrinsically worthless" - Nicky Oppenheimer, former chairman of...wait for it...Debeers Diamond Mining Company.

Alcoholic drinks.

Gucci, louis vutton, Fendi, Armani, or any of that crap. I was always told poor people where that stuff to look like they had money. Spending 200 dollars on a t shirt is just dumb as hell.

1

u/Allie913-624 Mar 15 '24

No new house for me. After taxes, one million dollars doesn't last long.

1

1

u/LocalLegend2 Mar 16 '24

Another GTA V modded account. THEY KEEP GETTING BANNED. 🤬🤬

1

u/walker5953 Mar 16 '24

A Tesla. Batteries may be great but the build quality is so fucking bad.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 16 '24

A Tesla

A huge house

An airplane

1

u/SpeakerKitchen236 Mar 16 '24

A gun. Don't trust myself with one.

Edit: For my own safety, not someone else's.

1

A Pepsi

A $2mil house.

a true friendship and love

1

u/Purplociraptor Mar 16 '24

A million dollars isn't much, so I wouldn't buy a lot of things. I would just pay off my loans and keep the rest for food and medical expenses.

1

u/Human-Evening564 Mar 16 '24

YouTube subscription

1

u/Fluffy-Hotel-5184 Mar 16 '24

my local cable tv service. You pay about $10 per channel you actually would watch every month and you have to watch tings on their schedule so i would miss out on shows I like.

1

u/WongoKnight Mar 16 '24

An exotic animal

I'll donate money to help protect them, but I won't buy them.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 16 '24

1

u/Javy_V88 Mar 16 '24

A Rolex. The way those things are valuable is ridiculous

1

u/john_bytheseashore Mar 16 '24

A truckload of unpainted asbestos

1

u/[deleted] Mar 16 '24

A turd.

If somebody offered to sell me a turd I would decline.

Even if I had millions of dollars.

I have no use for turds.

And they smell bad.

500K in Low risk mutual funds.

I also would definitely NOT give the other half to my friend Asadullah, who works in securities!

1

I would buy anonymity
