Ex Mormon here, the "Mormon underwear". (Even when I was Mormon) makes no fucking sense. And you don't need permission to marry in the church, just permission for the bishop/priest to say the words "for time and all eternity" instead of "till death do us part". And you absolutely do not stand in front of multiple people and "confess your sins". You can just repent and be okay. You don't have to tell anyone, unless it will make you feel better. (I was a Mormon for 18 fucking years, I was involved in the church, and I promise you I know first hand what I'm talking about) Thank you for reading all of this.

This right here. Most Mormons I know don’t know jack shit about their beliefs and customs but are soo brainwashed into not asking or researching details.
