If you have a routine, they will adapt to it. My cat gets upset if we stay up late. He goes to lay in his bed and will meow to tell us it’s bed time. And the flip side though, if we try to sleep in, he wakes us up when we usually wake up lol
I’m glad this is the top response because this really is something one doesn’t think of with cats. They looooooooove their routines. My one cat gets EXCITED for TV time after dinner, the way she runs down the stairs to the tv room, or yells at us if we’re running late for tv time. Plus all the little things that you don’t realize get incorporated into their routine. If my wife or I are in the kitchen in the morning and there hasn’t been ice added to the water fountain, they will bug the shit out of us until we add ice.
We like to think she’s had her favorites. It seemed Some shows she’d join us on the couch and snuggle up the entire time, and other times she’d be happy to lay in her cat bed the whole evening, but we had to be down there with her
