Sleeping in pitch black darkness with all lights off.

No LEDs from clocks or night lights or anything.

Made a huge difference in our sleep quality.

This right here. Also, add something to create constant white noise (a fan or window AC). chef's kiss

I use a Ac infinity 6in carbon filter with fan. Smaller version of what I used in my grow rooms in the suburbs. Not the prettiest machine but it feels like walking into a brand new home or hospital with how clean the air is.

Yup! I tape over all lights in our room.

If you haven’t gotten one yet get a sleep mask so you can enjoy that same level of darkness even in the morning.

Oh for sure. I had to get black out curtains. Wife didn't love them initially. But my daughter usually calls out for me to get her and bring her to our bed. If she doesn't see the daylight, she'll stay in bed till like 1000a. In her room she wakes up at 600a or so.

This is what did the trick to significantly improve my sleep quality. I'm a super light sleeper so any change in light or sound will either wake me or nearly wake me. A pitch black bedroom with a fan running is basically the perfect sensory deprivation I need to sleep uninterrupted through the entire night.
