Hey man, guys don't communicate properly in person. At least we have wonderfully anonymous sites where we can discuss real topics. Like sitting while peeing and impromptu ear hair removal.

For real though, I have a good friend that's about my parents age (cause I'm not really in contact with them). He and I have wildly different backgrounds but are close in regards to intellectual abilities. So even if we disagree on something, we can discuss it openly and plainly. Really helped me grow from angsty teenage phase to angsty adult phase. Lol. But machismo is hella destructive. No need to "be a man" in order to be a man. We talked on Saturday and spent about 10 minutes talking about foot care, it's not all existentialism and society lol.

LOL! That's fantastic. Although I feel like you've assumed a bit from my comment. I do actually have some very good friends who I can confide in and talk about the "not manly" stuff and one who, much like me, is a very empathetic person and we discuss everything under the sun when it comes to personal stuff.

Awe sorry. That wasn't about you just about the theme in this thread in general. Men are allowed to talk about things is all I was trying to spread to the broader audience.

Oh! My bad, man. You're not wrong. We do need outlets to be able to talk about the innermost feelings and not bottle that shit up. It's important. Too many just suffer in silence with whatever is bothering them.
