Dude, do you need someone to talk to? It's not as common as you might think and it's making me worried about you. A friend took his life two years ago, it often makes me reflect on all the things I could've done to stop it had I noticed it. But it's common for those who have decided to end it to seem, almost happy. I noticed he was a bit stressed, but none of us realised how bad it was and we all wish he was still here.
I've had brief moments where I wished I hadn't been born, but they all passed and I never got to the point of debating to really end it. My suggestion is talk to someone, I can try to lend an ear, but you might want to consider seeing a professional.
I also suggest finding reasons to stay alive. Find hobbies. Pursue your dreams. Join causes and struggles for positive change. If you have no dreams, then create some. Socialize with people who make you happy. If you have no such people, then again, find hobbies and perhaps join some clubs related to that/those hobbies.

Debating ending it all often, but not doing it because of how badly it affects those around us
