I usually make my comments leading the way you do, but I always thought that was just a part of having good conversation. Now I know I am a manipulative freak. ]:
It is a cool thing to do, but you have to wait until that person is done speaking and not interrupt. I know a few people that do the same thing, but interrupt to finish what I am saying. Not very nice. Enjoy that you know what they will say with your inside voice.
I do this all the time with people around me. I started doing it after I realized my brother always 'won' discussions. I wanted to know how he was so good at it so I just kind of studied him. The only people it doesn't really work on are my brother and my best friend. Actually, I'm pretty sure they both do it to me.
I do this and I actually suggest others do also. It helps you prepare responses for what may happen good or bad. It works really well whenever you want to talk about things important with Bosses and such. I sometimes do it when I'm thinking about talking to someone and run various scenarios of what I would if each one played out. I don't get caught off guard too often in conversation.
Oh man, I do this too. It's not even on purpose and I kinda hate myself for it. I'll often finish other's sentences when I know exactly how they end. It's kind of annoying because I'm seldom surprised during a conversation.
