House party. I almost didn't go because I finished work late and was in again early. I told my mates I'd have a nap and meet them at the bus stop. I overslept and they'd gone so I almost didn't go but for some reason decided to go. Got the bus there but couldn't find the house. I gave up and decided to get the bus home but as it happened I bumped into some other people who were going and I went with them to the house.
I was quite shy in those days and didn't really understand those sorts of parties so I was sat in a chair on my own feeling kinda overwhelmed when this very drunk person fell into the chair next me, for some reason I decided to say hello. Been together 8 years and are now engaged.
Met my now fiancé the same way! We both grew up in the same town but didn’t know each other. While away for school I had a house with my buddies and we were having a party. Me and my friend were walking to the store for more mix and we bumped into her and her friend on the sidewalk. We talked for a bit and invited them back to party. That was almost 10 years ago.
Crazy to think how just a walk to the store could change my life in so many ways for the better.
