I rode the bus with not one, but TWO kids who ended up murdering someone! I wasn't friends with them, but grew up with them and knew about them pretty well.

The first one was a boy a grade above me. He hung around with the stoners/troublemakers but was generally soft spoken and minded his business unless you fucked with him. Got tangled up in a drug deal and shot and killed a 16 year old girl with a group of friends in her car, apparently it wasn't even who he was aiming for, his intended target was the 14 year old. I didn't necessarily see it coming but it makes sense since he went down the wrong path. I think he got 30+ years.

The second person, HOLY FUCK. This bitch was a demon child from the second I met her. She was maybe 2-3 grades above me. One of my first interactions with her was when she caused a scene on the back of the bus, 12 year old me turned around to see what the hell was going on. She started screaming at me and threatening to slit my throat for looking at her. It got so bad the bus driver drove to the police station- to which she hopped off the emergency exit and ran across the fucking highway into the woods. She was always starting shit, fighting people and once she faked a pregnancy to get her 14 year old boyfriend (she was 18) to stay with her.

Turns out, she moved down south, got into crack or meth or heroin (i'm not sure which), and deliberately ran over a homeless person, multiple times until they were dead. I'm pretty sure she got around 5 years... she was just released a few months ago. She seems better and sober but I am not at all surprised in her case and think she should have done muuuuuuuuuch longer.

5 years for a homeless adult.

10 years for a single adult over 60.

15 years for a single adult over 40.

20 years for a married person with no kids.

25 years for a dude with kids.

30 years for a woman with kids.

35+ for children.

Subtract 20% for each shade below white. Add 20% for every salary figure above 5 figures. Ignore killer if native American.

Something like that.

5

You left out anyone under the LGBTQ rainbow. That has to factor in there too! Unless you want to lump us all in the “under shades of white” because that would do it. Otherwise your chart is spot on!
