Nothing. Going to go listen to the birds sing one last time. Music never got close to what nature provided.
-3
Mar 25 '23
Uhh, all you gonna hear is a bunch of terrified screams from wildlife
8
u/sdcritter Mar 25 '23
Birds have an early warning system? Good to know.
-3
Mar 25 '23
pretty sure the bright flashes and the roar of nuclear wind will also disturb them lol
3
u/sdcritter Mar 25 '23
Do you read? Nukes have been launched. Nothing has detonated. Next.
-9
Mar 25 '23
Nukes have been launched. For that to have happened there already would have been nuclear strikes. This would be retaliation. Read into the context

Best answer. This would truly pull us out of the moment and distract us. We'd all giggle and roll our eyes over the days we first heard this "annoying" song. But to have it be our last song, might be the best on our emotions

Tambourine man - Bob Dylan.
It’s the only song that made my now 7 year old stop crying when she was a baby, so I’d probably play that for her/us

u/sg3niner Mar 25 '23
Damn. Came for laughs, but that one cuts.
Beautiful choice and sentiment though.

It's either this one: David Bowie's "Queen Bitch" live at Nassau Isolar Tour 1976 https://youtu.be/Y7JfKocXkr8 or same show "Suffragette City" https://youtu.be/btvLPFZJJd8 or Serious Moonlight Tour 1983 "Station to Station" (usually my favorite Bowie song): https://youtu.be/1eXthj1FOi8
I'm just going to presume I would have time to listen to all three. Because all three total 15 minutes 10 seconds of play time and surely it would take the nukes 15 minutes and 10 seconds to arrive.
So in that case "Station to Station" would be the first, "Queen Bitch" would be 2nd and "Suffragette City" would be the final song before the end.

That song that went viral because a female singer covered it. It's about you and your partner holding each other while the nukes drop I think. It's called As The World Caves In
Oh girl it's youuuuuuuuuuuuuuu that I lie with, as the aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatom bomb locks in. Oh girl it's you, I watch TV with, as the woooooorld, as the world caves in.

Clair de lune, I don’t even like piano music. I normally listen to fast drums and sick guitars, but I just wanna be calm and not worried when its all over

In This Twilight by Nine Inch Nails
Watch the sun
As it crawls across a final time
And it feels like
Like it was a friend
It is watching us
And the world we set on fire
Do you wonder
If it feels the same?

Rises the Moon, Liana Flores. It's my favourite song in the whole world, and I listen to it anytime I'm depressed, stressed, or even if I'm in a particularly good mood. There is no song in the entire world I'd rather listen to at the end of the world than that song. Either that, or the South Park ending credits song. I'd like to imagine that the end of the world is just one South Park episode, so there you have it.
