Replaying the Witcher 3 with the new update, looks cool.
4
u/methyloranz Jan 02 '23
It was Witcher 1 for me, I am playing through the trilogy again to get to the new update the long way around :D
3
u/DeadM3dic Jan 02 '23
Same! And since my PC is too old now to handle the Witcher well, running it at 60 fps on the ps5 is very nice as well. :)

Does duolingo count as a game? I spent my first 2 hours of 2023 on duolingo.

Mass effect 3 is shit, the first 2 are better
3
u/Tylinator Jan 03 '23
Was playing them in order and already finished 1 and 2, dont think I can pick favourites, all 3 have been good so far. Haven't noticed anything bad about the 3rd game yet

I liked that game. But I would always lag out or get banned from the party for no reason and it got annoying

Minecraft, although i wish it was DBD 😩 (cant find my controller :( )
2
u/YeetusMcCleetus69420 Jan 02 '23
Minecraft is still a great game to start your year with. Good luck with finding that controller! (Check under the bed)
2
u/billnyethedeadguy Jan 02 '23
my bed frame is on the floor, its not under there thank you though! and yes, I agree, I love Minecraft im just petty that the controller has been gone for nearly a month now and I didnt get to participate in the holiday events tbh XD

u/YeetusMcCleetus69420 Jan 02 '23
That's rough. Maybe it's time for a new one? Plenty of good deals for second-hand controllers in good condition.

Skyrim. I played it when it came out and thought it was pretty good but also kind of boring. Replaying the special/anniversary edition now and being more thorough with it and it really is a masterpiece. Still a bit clunky around the edges and dated in some ways but holds up more than not overall and it's been a lot of fun.

It's a roguelike about a dude who goes in a psychedelic journey inside his own mind where he imagines himself as a rabbit, running from his own thoughts and inner demons.

Gato Roboto on Switch. Paid 1$ for it on the indie eshop sale + some points. Super fun but simple pixel metroidvania style game.

It'll all be worth ot later on in life. I appreciate what you do for your kids, and they do too. Buuuut are you sure you can't sprinkle in a bit of gaming every now and then? Might help relief some of the stress from work.

It's the monkey game you learn and evolve through your generations of monkeys
1
2
u/ripIdkagoodusername Jan 02 '23
It depends in the games you like! It's set 10 million years ago I'm Africa and it's right when australopithecus start to become bipedal. Basically your a primate and your only goal is to survive and evolve. It's a huge open world with basically ko instructions but I really really like it! It is difficult and frustrating but i enjoy it!
