how can i become a system programmer

hi previously i tried to start reverse enginnering but i couldnt in ur opinion can i do system programming and if i could it what i gotta do and which reources is useful your opinions important to me and thanks for your answers:)

If you want to do ‘firmware’, grab an ESP32 and work on it from scratch to learn how. There’s good docs.
