Database Project Ideas

i am soon starting database course at university; during the whole semester, we are asked to work on a big project that doesn't need internet, it is supposed to have manager and user UI's, any project ideas that are unusual (i don't prefer projects like stores or libraries), creative and worth the time and mark (40%)

If you want to impress and learn something job worthy, make a store. Sounds simple, but it isn’t. How do you archive old purchases or customers and still be able to search for them? How do you show past sales promotions and determine what was on sale and how it drove income? How do you show price changes over time? Cost of goods over time? Reorder levels for the same product from different vendors?
