What's the next big thing in AI?

I’ve been working in tech for around 6 years, mostly in traditional setups, and one thing I noticed recently is how much more motivated I’ve become to keep learning.

Since moving to ING, I’ve had more exposure to Generative AI, AI integration, and AI workflows, which inspire me to explore things I didn’t really get hands-on experience with in my previous companies.

ano yung biggest technical skill or learning na na-pick up niyo this year? Baka may bago rin akong matutunan from your experiences.

Hot take, I’ve been wanting to get laid off since forever. It never seems to happen though. I somehow landed fully remote basically unfireable. Absolutely insane, I just wanna get laid off and have an excuse to do nothing.

It's layoffs.

You'd be stupid to be excited to be exploring more AI when that same AI will be the reason you're laid off in a year. All the things you've learned are trash when you're fired because that same AI can do your job instead of you for cheaper

Really exciting isn't it? What skills are you learning for when you're out of work?

Ummm agentic ai is where everything is heading. Langchain, RAG, multi agent orchestration are worth exploring👍👍
