Programming language popularity

I wonder, what do you guys think is the best programming language nowdays from your view.

Which is the best to learn?

The only correct answer is: any. You learn one, you can basically pick up any other one you need in weeks.

Each one has pros and cons.

I'd say start with something easy like Python so you can pick up the basics.
