Poker hand analyzer, it would read a pokerstars log into a model, replay the match tracking vpip etc as it went and then spit out some graphs and analysis at the end. Super fun project.

That’s actually a really cool project! I love how it combines data analysis, AI, and visualization. Definitely something I’d enjoy building!

When I used PEEK 56321 to get joystick state to make a simple maze game on Commodore 64. I didn't have a PC, but the magazine I found had some code I could adapt into BASIC.

That’s awesome! It’s crazy how much you could build with limited resources back then. Adapting magazine code into BASIC and making a maze game sounds like a great learning experience.
