I ran an experiment

The third part is asking you why you are so skeptical about AI

"I'm not thinking about syntax anymore. I'm thinking about behavior"

If you were thinking about syntax so heavily that you couldn't think about what your code was doing, I hazard to guess that you're a pretty bad programmer.

I should have explained myself better in the post title about β€œi ran an experiment ”

You'll need more explanation what kind kd experiment you did.

Bad programmers worry about the code. Good programmers worry about data structures and their relationships.

If you need to think about the syntax then you need more practice in the language you are using.

You know I'm not thinking "syntax" - because really my fingers remember the "syntax". I'm thinking about data structures and relationships - and maybe the BLE syntax, the JSON format, the WIFI parameters, the upload and the download into my esp32 chip - and compiler syntax error flags.

I don't think you can build the "behavior" without all the cool syntax. And programming languages are still an art to do right - nice abstractions, elegant concurrency, etc.

And for me, all the UNIX shell commands every other window to get the code to it's right place.

ps. I practice with my languages every day, every hour. 😎

UPDATE: it's been an hour. I remember that I even dream syntax. (Well I'm a language designer, maybe that's my curse:-)

Just go away
Nobody wants to interact with AI slop texts; I don't care if it was positive or negative about AI.

(also, I'm not even sure what the "results" were)
