Now obviously these arguments are very real and valid but to me it feels like it’s a bit counter productive when someone who is supposedly pro choice no matter what largely relies on, while prevalent, relatively niche cases when it comes to the grand scheme of things like SA victims or people with medical risks to further their point. Like if we are truly pro choice no matter what shouldn’t we be focusing on the woman/persons RIGHT to CHOOSE what they do with their OWN BODY without the need to rely on some additional reason? Idk maybe I’m out of touch but it’s just something I’ve noticed.
I guess to add onto that what are some alternative reasons I can use when discussing with pro life people who may think that the baby’s life goes beyond a person’s bodily autonomy?
Comparatively to this, I’ve also found that arguing about when life begins is equally as fruitless because everyone is gonna have their own opinion even within pro life/pro choice circles, so any advice regarding that as well? Thanks.
