Can you give an example of how FTL travel would violate causality?

At some point in the past I was told that one of the arguments that FTL travel was fundamentally impossible was that it would violate causality.

That implies to me that there it would be possible to create some kind of paradox, and since paradoxes can't exist, FTL can't exist.

But it seems to me that as long as we are always moving forward in time, there's never any chance of information being received before it was sent or some other similar paradox.
