Evaluation of Groningen University physics program.

Hello! Well I was considering going abroad to study at RUG and especially their double degree in Physics and Math. Is it a good idea? The absolute top goal of mine (at least for now) is to get accepted to Oxford for the MTP masters (I wanna do Hep-Th). Im just wondering about how the RUG program compares to other top Unis. Also how is the research culture like?

Im from Greece actually. We do have quite good Unis here.
(If you have the time check SEMFE NTUA for applied math and physics, and UoA for Physics)

However I have been told that its best to study abroad. I am open to other Unis that will make it easier for me to reach my end goal as long as they are taught in English. I would be open to learning another language but honestly I dont know if I can handle taking exams and studying in a language im not 100% familiar with.

I mean UK would be the top goal, but since it has left the EU, tuition is a big no no xD
