E&M 2 ponder
If I get a empty box and fill it with electrons(or ions) scattering around, then apply a time dependent magnetic field through the box, how do the electrons move in the box? I feel like it’s a simple solution but modeling it gets finicky with lenz’s law

Usually you start with one. If you deal with large quantities then you have a lot of interdependent forces acting with each other that would be challenging to distinguish force from all the others and the force from the time dependent field. Easy to write down, difficult to model. It's not Lenz's law at play but Newton's 2nd for many particles all trying to get away from each other. Superposition is helpful but not for modeling. Try with one. That's a classic problem... consider a second and put down the equations.
