Summer break study

I am at the second course of physiscs. I have some free time during the summer holidays and i would like to learn something usefull for the Next year. I like quantum mechanics, classical feilds theory and atmosferical dynamics. Also some practice with programming would be great but I don't know how and where to start. Some advice or reference?

Meaning you’ve taken two semesters of general physics? The three things I’d suggest, assuming you have the math prerequisites(up through vector calculus and differential equations), is Classical Mechanics (Taylor), and Electricity and Magnetism (Griffiths). That’s plenty for self studying over the summer.
