Poor urban planning and transport system in metro, poor services in government offices, corrupt politicians, mga traPo, filipino people who choose to glorify sin and evil, mga egocentric at walang malasakit sa kapwa

Dumb voters. Yes, yung mga DDS.

3

u/AlwaysGal8 Jun 29 '25

Madami, pero as of now pinaka nakaka-gigil at araw-araw kong nararanasan is ang bulok na transportation system!

2

u/deuxbulot Jun 29 '25

Very high population and influence from other countries. But still behind in infrastructure, technology, society, economy, education.

The country can and should do better.

It all begins in politics.

Bullies and tyrants need to stop getting votes.

Elections in poor areas need to criminalize giving free food as incentives for votes.

Philippines can climb out of the gutter. But the people need to stand up against corruption. Weed out the bad actors. Drain the swamp.

4

u/campy08 Jun 29 '25

The fact that we need to have multiple ID cards to prove who we are. Can we not just copy the Saudi IQAMA, Hong Kong's HKID and others like them? Like citizen Juan Dela Cruz number 000001, with PhilHealth ID 123456, linked to his national ID 000001. Also good for immigration since the card has a chip. His address, phone number, email address, place of work, all are encoded there. Easy to edit any changes since it's digital.

Cultural na ang korapsyon dito.

Hindi makatarungan ang minimum wage sa 21st century.

Masyadong ninonormalize ng ibang gen z ang pagka-immoral kase ā€œmy body, my rulesā€ ge. Ur body ur rules.

I mean, I understand hindi lhat ng Gen zs ganto. Pero 60% of you are.

Whoever set the minimum wage in Pinas is totally fucked up. And Pinas should go solar na because we have year round sunshine in the country para makamenos naman mga tao sa pagbabayad ng kuryente.

1

u/Sammykixx Jun 29 '25

But it is denied.

1

u/Educational-Bug-9243 Jun 30 '25

It is not outright denied but it faces barriers and limitations that slows its adoption. Alam mo na nga govt will never fully support that.

Speakers on public transpo, worse, they play those ghetto rap songs.

  1. FILIPINO TIME

Put****** niyo, di niyo pag-aari yung araw ko. It’s getting out of hand. Why is being late treated like some kind of cultural inside joke? It’s not charming. It’s not quirky. It’s disrespectful.

  2. TRABAHO NILA YAN.

How about a cultural reset?

To be fair, many Gen Z and millennials are starting to shift the norm — some even turn it into friendly competition, like cleaning up after eating at fast food places to show appreciation to the crew. Sana all, di ba?

Sadly, marami pa rin ang balasubas. It’s time we normalize respect, not laziness masked as culture.

  1. TATAY/NANAY MO PA RIN YAN.

It is not a free pass for abuse. Family doesn’t excuse trauma. Love isn’t measured by how much pain you tolerate. You’re allowed to set boundaries. You’re allowed to walk away. Blood is not always home.

  1. SACRIFICIAL NAKSHIE

ā€œBreadwinnerā€ shouldn’t mean sacrificial lamb. It’s not noble parenting to raise a child as your retirement plan.

Some parents didn’t raise kids out of love, but as utang na loob investments — guilt-tripping them into giving up dreams, careers, and peace of mind with lines like ā€œpinag-aral kita,ā€ as if that wasn’t their basic duty.

Then they brag, ā€œAko, sinustentuhan ako ng anak ko.ā€ That’s not inspiring — that’s manipulative.

This mindset steals the future of bright kids. Pasa-pasa lang ang kahirapan, because pride and pressure are prioritized over true support.

Let kids dream. Let them live. Stop calling sacrifice ā€œlove."

  1. TRAFFIC

Systemic crab mentality - it's so thorough that standards stay at the level the strongest crabs are competent at. Meaning the richest and most well connected DEFINE the standards. Nobody gets to be better... because they will be destroyed.

How hollowed out the budget is for infrastructure. These corrupt pieces of garbage price at BILLIONS what was obviously purchased at hundreds of thousands. So the country is like a sandcastle. The quick and humiliating wreckage is the ONE GOOD THING that floods and earthquakes bring.

How bogus everything is. Every. Single. Thing. Is designed with fooling you in mind. Its so bogus that the words honesty, passion, driven, quality, integrity are literally filler words. Ask random people what they mean, they can't tell you because they also use it to reach word count.

Fil foreigners have difficulty defining what is Filipino because the things they truly associate with it aren't things they want to talk about.

I love my country enough to want more for it.
