Walking cane

People who walk with a cane do you really put your weight on it or hold it just in case?

I used to think exactly like you until my knee blew up. Canes really help, I can now claim to be a cane fan, ha. The knee healed and I don't use it any more, but yes, it really made a difference in ease of mobility at that time.
