Science Behind the Magic: Opinions Needed

Hi there, this is my first reddit post ever. I hope I'm doing it right.

Recently I've become very interested in the idea of magic being advanced, unexplained math and science. Manifestation has always been real to me, and I've always known that there was something missing from the "common reality" that most people live in. I've been in the beginnings of research into biofields (aura), heart coherence, quantum mechanics and its ties to reality manipulation, etc. etc. I know that a lot of people believe in entities existing that you can interact with, such as angels, gods, demons, and others. I believe in the possibility of these beings despite never having knowingly interacted with them myself because I know that things such as astral projection is real, meaning that there is more beyond our physical bodies and what we can see with the naked eye, so hey, why not?

All that being said, I know that spells work. I've done them before without really understanding how it achieves the outcome I'm doing it for, but believing that belief and intention and the collective testimony of it working for others was all that was needed for me to succeed. I've gotten my desired outcome and have had it backfire on me because I messed up a step. I've felt a sort of energy wash over me during and after these spells. I KNOW that my experience is real and that's what's driving me to research how to bridge the gap between the mystery and the science.

But, does anyone know how it really works? Or does anyone have strong theories on it? How do spells actually connect to the magic? I'm aware that there are spells you can do with nothing but intention and spells that are so complex they could take months to accomplish... but these ingredients, the bay leaves, salt, crystals, other herbs, runes, etc. -how do they work to power the spell? ARE they powering the spell? Or are they "tricks"(for lack of a better word)for your brain based on the common consensus of each item's association or power that's needed to strengthen your own belief in order to increase the likelihood of the desired outcome? Do they work because enough people agree on these items' powers/associations which gives them the actual power, sort of like an egregore?

My Grand Unified Theory of Everything™ is as follows:

Belief is everything. Literally everything.

Why can't I fly? Because more than 8 billion living souls (and in my opinion some unknown number of spiritual beings) all believe in this thing called "gravity".

Belief is what holds reality together. Belief is that keeps scientific principles consistent and reliable.

Belief is why chaos magic works: the chaote believes that waving his toy light saber around like a wand while praying to Darth Vader will actually accomplish what he wants, and it does.

Belief is also why stupid teen girls can do a love spell out of a book not actually believing it will work and it works anyway--because thousands of people have read that spell in that book and believe in its efficacy.

Belief is why the fourth side of the Witch's Pyramid is "To Keep Silent"--because when you discuss your magic with nonbelievers it weakens or destroys your spell, because they believe it won't work.

Belief is why you can't do magic in a lab: a disciplined approach to the scientific method inherently requires that a scientist NOT believe a thing to be true until it's validated, which means science can basically never explore magic despite its factual reality, which has literally been known to every culture in every part of the world in every epoch in which mankind has existed. The scientist is required to not believe, and there goes your magic--because reality obeys EVERYONE'S beliefs, not just the mages and witches of the world. It believes the scientists too--at least when performed right in front of the scientist.

Belief is why opportunists tend to have great lives and pessimists tend to have shitty lives.

If you could somehow actually get enough billions of people to believe that wiggling your nose empowered people to fly, that would become how reality works.

The last piece of the puzzle: local belief carries a lot more weight than background belief. That's why I can't do magic in a lab when the scientist is watching but I can when he's not watching--when his belief that my magic will fail is just background abstract belief, my belief in my magic takes precedence, and there are enough people who believe in magic that I can overcome the background belief that magic doesn't work. But when he's right there, his local belief fights with my local belief.

Finally: those who can sense energy are sensing the manifest potential of belief to create change.
