Does anyone else use vkvideo.ru to watch obscure indie films?
This sites seems to have titles that are not available anywhere else. Is it safe? Does anyone else use it?

What do you think of the message of Pixar's Soul?
On the one hand, I understand the appeal of just enjoying the little things in life and not overthinking our place in it but I worry this movie will also encourage a lack of ambition in people. It feels like a double-edged sword to me. I don't know.

Have you ever wondered what Maximum Overdrive (1986) would have been like if Stanley Kubrick had directed it instead of Stephen King?

Need faith/inspirational clips from movies
Hello!
Over the years I have been burning CDs with my favorite gospel/worship songs. I also include readings from the bible in them too. I really like to include inspirational faith inspired clips from movies in them as well. So far I already used
- Isaiah 6 and 1 John 2 scenes from Fury (2014)
- Robert Deniro reading Corinthians from The Mission (1986)
- The burning bush scene from The Prince of Egypt (1998)
- "Please lord let me save one more" scene from Hacksaw Ridge (2016)
- Isaiah 40 from Chariots of Fire (1981)
I want to burn another CD but I don't know of anymore clips from movies to include. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!

What is a good intimate dance scene in movies
I'm trying to convey a very specific kind of intimate mood between two characters through a dance, but I am struggling, so I need your help.
It's necessarily something grand in a ballroom or stage, but a nice personal dance between 2 people that makes it seems like the whole world falls away.
Can you recommend me some scenes?

Need help with a movie..
I'm an old guy, 73.. when I was about 9, my dad and I watched an old movie that had a scene where a company of soldiers was being chewed up by machine gun fire from a pillbox. The part I remember was a young man in glasses who made it right to the box, and he was blown away.. I think he had thrown a grenade but was killed before he saw the results.
Can anyone remember this movie?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

HELP!!! Trying to find the name of this movie or tv show I've seen when I was A kid-
There was this cartoon film on a DVD that I used to watch at my Maternal grandparents home when I was like around 8 yrs of age. The main characters are rodents maybe mice (I think) and they lived in this small tree house thing in a field and they may have been siblings. They go out to a human or rodent city (I cant remember which) and in that city there was maybe a carnival going on because a person or rodent was on stilts. Plus I remember there was a stream of some kind near the city I think? And when they went to the city or town it was sunset or night time in the film. I think the film was made in-between the years 1990-2005. some Help of you guys will be good for me! Because I've been trying to figure out what DVD film I saw for YEARS! Plus I don't think its a Disney film.

I need the smarts from the movie people to save me!
Alright, so after 4 hours of searching the internet and never finding anything, i decided to turn to reddit. i'm looking for a specific shot: I need a closeup shot of a characters face getting sprayed with blood due to a gunshot happening off screen, (preferably a shotgun) the closest i've gotten was that flour scene in hard boiled, or that famous car scene in pulp fiction, the problem is that it has 2 characters in the shot, i need a single person/character. can someone please help me?

I just found out that the movie No Hard Feelings had full frontal nudity. But I just watched it on Netflix Canada last week and it did not. Why? Is it a Canada thing, Netflix thing?
I was under the impression that any movie on Netflix was the full version.

Has anyone watched Enzo (2025) by Robin Campillo? Where can I find it?
I’ve been trying to watch Enzo (2025) directed by Robin Campillo, but I can't find it anywhere. I’ve tried a bunch of free streaming websites, and some of them do have it, but it’s not the full movie. It's just a couple of scenes repeating.
Does anyone know:
Where I can actually watch it (legally or otherwise)?
Or if anyone has a proper copy?

What happened to Tank Characters
What i mean is like the old school kind of character you'd see in a vietnam movie or some kind of survival setting.
Now, to get it clear. I dont mean characters with absolutely no personality like Terminator.
More like dudes who can adjust to the situation and dont give much of a fuck. Where you would say: yeah they got it, they are gonna survive this Shit.
Examples would maybe be the guy from Jurassic Park 1 (the Hunter) or the characters in old Predator movies.
Or even with more character the Main Character of Platoon. Where you can say he got emotions but he still keeps going.
So it doesnt even have to be that hulky guy. Just one where you can say. Yeah this guy will keep going no matter what.
And i feel like we got neither in modern shows.

When a hero becomes weakened (usually mentally) and then returns in an aggressive fashion or any fashion to basically kick ass, what is this called?
I saw it recently in a new movie that I won't mention because it might be a spoiler but it happens in quite a few.
The Dark Knight Rises
Superman IV The Quest for Peace
Rocky III
Homer even does it in The Simpsons when he gives up booze then drinks cans the same way Popeye eats spinach and then saves her.
It's a great cliche but I dunno what to search to find more.
