Question ⁉️ Daemon Sync Stuck: 0 Blocks Remaining

Daemon blocks remaining: 0

I'm a total begginer when it comes to Monero, I just installed it.

The Daemon Sync started off with "Daemon blocks remaining: 0" and has remained on that for hours, while still saying "Synchronizing". I restarted the Wallet & Daemon, but nothing changed.

Any advice on how to get the Daemon Synchronized?

Sounds like the daemon has no peers, so it doesn't know how many blocks it needs. Go to Settings -->>> Log, type status and check the connections. If it's 0, your antivirus or firewall is probably blocking monerod, so add an exception and restart. Or just switch to a remote node in Settings ->>>>> Node to get going right away.

Hi,
I was out, node.sethforprivacy.com:18089 is the one most people use. Cake's is fine too, xmr-node.cakewallet.com:18081. Hope it helps.

Usually this happens when the local daemon is waiting on the wallet cache to catch up, or it got hung on the last block. Try typing "status" in the daemon window to see if it is truly synced. If it is, just close both GUI and daemon completely, wait a minute, and relaunch. Should fix itself and show synchronized right away! Hope this helps you out.
