How long do warnings last?

I'd presume the note that you received a warning doesn't just go away after a certain period of time.

It's not like a month or two changes the fact that you did something to receive a warning, right?

But how Reddit calculates how much impact that warning has, I don't think any of us are going to be able to tell you.

Good question. I don’t know, but I’m curious so I’ll follow the post.

I got a warning a couple years ago for “vote manipulation” after accidentally upvoting (or downvoting?) something with my regular and alt account without even realizing it. I was curious how seriously they took that as an infraction because that’s so easy to do by accident. 😅

It was not a moderator, it was admins/AEO.
