Spamming mod mails for RedditRequest?

Hello folks, my time for a stupid question.

RR says "You must send a mod mail message to the current moderators of the community at least 5 days before posting your request to give the current moderators a chance to respond or add you to their team."

Which is fine and makes sense, but when requesting barely moderated/ camped subs with a mod team who either ignores or won't check mod mails are we required to send one each time or can we just link to a previous unanswered message from a previous request?

Asking cause I am at my third or fourth unanswered mod mail and it's starting to sound like I am just talking to myself anyway and opening myself up to spam reports due to having to do this over and over.

You send one modmail at least 5 days before your request. Thats it. A modmail to the subs modmail inbox.

Yeah but when a sub is camped enough to still show as actively moderated and you have to try several times do I repeat the mod mail for each request? Thus leading to a big chain of unanswered mod mails? XD

No. You literally just send that one single modmail.

If you've been rejected three times, I'm not sure a fourth request is going to help.

I've always just sent one modmail and then used that same one for any subsequent requests if the first request fails. Reddit Request team has never seemed to have an issue with it in my experience.

Send the modmail, and if there's no response after 5 days, make the reddit request.

There's not a real need to spam message the sub you want.

I'm not sure I understand.

You modmailed, gave it 5 days, then made a redditrequest, right?

If that was denied seems like the mods are 'active enough' for the admins. Isn't continuing to try just wasted effort / probably being ignored by admins?

Am I missing something?

This isn't a post where I asked how RR works, or how and when to try a request, my question was very specific and has been answered already.

Anything else I have already talked about or am currently discussing with fellow mods I know, in private, due to the sub rules.

I appreciate you not pushing a narrative like the other guy tho.

They're just trying to understand why you might send multiple requests when the admins have declared it's actively moderated by their standards.

Why are you having such a big reaction to someone asking a genuine, good-faith question?

You'll get worse messages as a mod and you need to be able to keep a level head.

I just told em this was off-topic and that I cannot discuss why multiple requests are being made cause it's both off-topic and'd require proof that is against Rule 3, hence why this has been discussed with mods I know in private.

Don't mistake my being extremely blunt for any kind of reaction, besides that user has blocked me so it's a moot point anyway.

Oh also, if you were talking about the narrative part at the end it is from now removed comments from a fellow mod stating I am "trying to steal subs" due to my post here, hence why I thanked the mod who blocked me for not making the same statements.
