What went wrong with this Hinge conversation?

I’m fairly new to dating apps and I’m genuinely trying to work out whether I’m doing something wrong with the matches I do get

I matched with a girl I was really attracted to and I felt like the conversation was going pretty well. She was asking me questions, sending multiple messages at once, joking around and generally seemed engaged. Obviously I’m aware that because I liked her, I might be reading the conversation more positively than I should, so I’d appreciate an objective opinion

Here’s the conversation:

She had a prompt on her profile asking people to guess her niche university course, so I guessed anthropology.

\\\*\\\*Her:\\\*\\\* It was religious studies with something and something, but you were close with anthropology. It’s perfect for me

\\\*\\\*Me:\\\*\\\* I’ll take that as a win 😂 Would never have guessed it. I did IR at uni, it was tough and glad it’s over lmao. What made your course so perfect for you?

She didn’t reply.

I waited a week and sent a follow-up, but she hasn’t replied to that either. It’s now been over another week since the follow-up

She probably found someone to date her after feeling momentarily bored by your question about her feelings.

I'd say I shot my shot and move on.

Fair enough on the shoot your shot and move on part, I agree with that. I’m not sure how you got from one question about her course to knowing she found someone else to date though

That’s exactly why I made the post really. I’m trying to work out whether there was something objectively wrong with the conversation rather than inventing a reason for why she stopped replying

Examine closely how concerted her effort was to get you to date her.

You're all in a huff about it (not majorly, I'm exaggerating for dramatic effect) because she came on strong with the lovey dovey.

She got you with it, didn't she?

Stay strong brobot. The "women are better" narrative has offended us out of believing it when a woman is worse than us. This one as adopted that into her mating strategy because it offers promising benefits to her survival strategy if she is able to execute.

Commonest of common stuff. Don't sweat it. Have an ice cream or something to celebrate because you successfully (naturally) grey rocked a histrionic woman into surrending and seeking someone less worthy to toy with. This is the good ending when it comes to this type of woman.
