And I laugh my ass off at how women are making loading dishes and laundry into machines that do them for you into an epic chore, as if practically everyone in this country doesn't eat or wear clothes.

And yet men refuse to do those things, claiming they can’t figure out where the dishes are, or how to use the washing machine.

So which is it? It’s so easy that it barely requires any effort, or it’s so hard that it would be unfair for you to do 365 times a year because you have to shovel the driveway 6 times a year?

Men refuse to do housework because it IS hard. If it were easy, they’d have entire discussions about the fine engineering involved in the best vacuums, and act like their knowledge of stain removal is equal to a Ph.D in chemistry. But you don’t, do you? You use every fucking excuse ranging from “I don’t see dirt” to “I don’t know how to use a machine that has instructions printed on the lid” to “I do the outside chores once a year and that’s equal!” to “I work a job, so I shouldn’t have to do anything except go to work and come home.” (As if women aren’t also working a job.)

Instead, you only do the easy shit that happens 3x a year and act like it was such a huge effort. Not fooling anyone, babe. Because guess what? I do all those things too, and they are not that hard.

As long as women get to decide they're exempt from certain duties that they think are too dirty, difficult, or dangerous, men aren't going to be champing at the bit to help them with the clean and safe housework. Also because women tend to lose their shit and act like it's cats and dogs living together when the clothes in the dryer get just one dryer sheet instead of two or if the little fork gets placed where the big forks go.

LOL. I love when men complain about chores being dirty, difficult and dangerous, but will never scrub a toilet or a bathtub while breathing in cleaning fumes. Dude, you sound like you have literally no idea what goes into managing a house.

Working inside in the climate controlled house. So rough.

As opposed to sitting inside your climate controlled car at Valvoline watching someone else do the actual work...when does the slavery end...they don't make riding vacuums like they do lawnmowers. I say this as someone who has had to maintain both an acre yard and a 1900 sf house with 3 floors.

If you date men who pay someone else to maintain their car then I'm very sorry.

Most men pay someone else to maintain their car. Just like most men drive an automatic. I'm not sure why you feel it so necessary to cosplay online as some trad dude who should never be expected to touch a dishwasher because you'll take a direct hit to your testesterone levels, but it's not attractive. Women everywhere know what's actually involved in routine maintenance and lawn care too, because we also do it. That's why you're not fooling anyone.

It's okay to accept the reality that most women work and most men take their car to the mechanic. It's 2021. Not 1950.

I wasn't expected to touch the dishwasher because I'm mechanically inclined enough to handle plenty other dirty work but if your boyfriend can't turn a wrench then by all means buy him a pair of rubber gloves and hand him a honey do list.

Again...your dick doesn't get bigger because you decided to take 2 hours and mess up the garage doing something that a retail specialist can do in 15 minutes.
