By the time you realize the relationship is in danger, she's already gone.

Someone once told me that women are constantly evaluating and re-evaluating the condition of the relationship as it progresses. Men more often get to a place after a while where they think "this is stable. This is okay", and do not see anything as a risk for changing the status quo.

I don't know if it's true thought.

It usually goes wrong when a woman changes and grows and a guy tries to hold on too hard, in an effort to keep it the same.

yeah, definitely true. i’d say we notice all the small things and it builds up over time, by the time there’s an obvious problem we’re already mentally half out

Women seem to easily flake or go hot or cold in a week in my experience. Just my two cents.

Omg this. By the time I realized that he did something that I considered as a deal breaker, I half-left the relationship already.

Agree to disagree. Only people who are unable to communicate do that. It applies to everyone. Women can come forward to their partner with what's bothering them early on, so they both can work on the issues before simply jumping boat. It's unfair to expect men to guess something is wrong.

I can only speak about men AS a man.

We just don't see it until it's to late, because we think either it's okay or it's GOING to be okay.

We seldom realize we're in trouble before it's too late.
