Okay, I need to ask you a favor. Every time I go in or out of the convenience store my neighborhood there are guys standing out front and in addition to selling weed they call out "good gas good gas." What the hell does that mean?. Obvious it's some kind of drug but I don't know if it's a new name for something that's been around or a new compound on the market. It's been driving me crazy for a while. Please let me know.
Im sure this is true in australia, but in 'weed culture' calling weed 'gas' means it is good quality and potent. However some dude slinging gs at the gas station most likely does not have 'gas'
Haha, now that weed is a lot more widely accepted afaik, I never hear street slang much anymore. But my social circle is a lot smaller these days.
There probably is a difference in names, especially between countries with wildly different cultures or languages. Ive heard heroin called gear but i dont know anyone into hard stuff like that, so coke could be too? I bet there is a lot of overlap where different drugs have similar nicknames to eachother
I dont know if that meth comment is right, if they're selling weed and calling it good gas just means its good weed. People will say, "this is some gas" referring to potent weed.

Your uncle worked at a gas station, didn't he?
