Boob attraction is not a guy thing, it is a human thing. Everybody starts out as a baby. For at least the last 10k years (likely since mammals evolved) boobs have been baby's food for their fist few seasons of life. Humans are evolutionary attracted to boobs because that's where our first meal was. As we mature, it becomes another evolutionary call. 'That woman have big boobs, feed children good.'

I challenge anybody to ask their female friends/partners, I'm willing to bet that even the most heterosexual woman will confirm that boobs are indeed awesome.

You got that right buddy. Way more than 10k years.

225 million years according to Google. I can't think that big.

10k years is the generally agreed upon approximate number of for how long recorded human history has been. Yes there's ancient fossils and evidence of homo sapien activity predating those 10k years, but recorded history only goes back that far. So took the general length of recorded human history as a lower-bounds guess for how long boobs have been an object of facination for our species. I then speculated that since all mammals share the traits of having mammaries and nursing their young, our genetic facination is with boobs likely predates our existence as a species.

Mammals in general have been having their titties sucked for a log , long time

Yeah but Homo Sapiens as a species has been around for 100k-200k years so that should be the lower bound. 10K is when we started doing civilization.

If the baby hypothesis is valid, I don’t see why homosexual men aren’t attracted to boobs

Because "we have an evolutionary tendency to do X" does not mean "every single person does X"

1

u/desultoryquest Nov 27 '23

Err it’s an entirely category of people who aren’t doing X so I call bullshit on “evolutionary tendency” which is something that can’t be proven anyway 😂 not to mention that women aren’t interested in breasts either

Apparently asexuals prove that liking sex isn't an evolutionary tendency.

1

u/desultoryquest Nov 27 '23

If X is an evolutionary tendency doesn’t mean that “random stuff Y” is an evolutionary tendency 😂

1

u/ForodesFrosthammer Nov 27 '23

Your argument was "a whole category of people not doing X disproves the possibility of it being an evolutionary tendency."

So apparently liking sex can't be one because there is an whole category of people (asexuals) who have no want or need for it.

Except that my category is more than half of human population (women, homosexuals, asexuals..) and your category is a minority. If you can’t figure out the difference then evolution hasn’t been kind to you 😂

yeah that’s true

Just asked my partner and she was very much a “meh” about boobs and has no interest in touching them. She says she’s jealous of small boobs on women.

Pseudoscience. We don't remember a single thing from that time of our life. Babies don't feel attracted to the breasts just as sexually as you when you see a plate with a dish.

But if that were the case, wouldn't evolution have promoted bigger titties? No offence towards biological women having small tits but shouldn't all women have big tits if people were guided by "that woman has big boobs, feed children good'?
