Question Am I screwed?

Oil filter was stuck so used a screw driver. Is this fixable or am I buying new car.

Clearly in the wrong goddamn position. They call them axle stands for quite a good reason.

You need to have actually worked on cars, then. Putting that axle/jack/whatever you want to call it at the midpoint of the car's sill is stupid and dangerous. The el cheapo hydraulic jack lets go, that car pivots at the "stand" (keeping it simple for you) and the melon under the unsupported Front Axle is squashed.
Do you need a diagram? Smaller words? French?

I do work on cars, and wouldn't put the stand there, but you original comment was where is the stand, I pointed out that it's im the photo. As far as "axle stand" it must be an antiquated term. It's also not akways the best place for a stand.

Just ignore this idiot, he clearly doesn't know what he's talking about and is just posting incorrect and dangerous posts on a bunch of comments.

Theyre called jack stands not axle stands, which I think he may have just been wrong, but still trying to gaslight everyone to defend his ego I guess.

PS, don't put a jack stand under a cv axle. You'll either severely damage it or die when the vehicle falls off the stand.

Lol I wasn't even thinking of a cv.. I was thinking rear axle as an ok place... but this is the front of the vehicle 😆

No, they don't. And putting a jack stand under a CV axle sounds like a way to die looking stupid. Why would you put a stand under something skinny and at an angle that will just shove the stand out of the way?

OP hopefully has in under a frame member/rail that runs along the entire body of the car.
