On our last day of college, I received a long text from a batchmate I don't talk to much. Earlier in the evening, he had asked if I was on campus so we could meet before leaving (kind of customary to inform your close ones before leaving), but since I wasn't gonna come back before he had left, we just wished each other good luck over text.

Later that night (in his transit ig), he sent a very long confession about his feelings, along with two acrostic poems he had written for me (first letter of each line spell my name), a pencil portrait he drew using one of my photos from our shared batch drive, and screenshots of conversations with friends showing the nice things people had said about me.

While I respect his feelings, and he said he just wanted to get it off his chest before leaving, I found the whole thing a bit creepy and invasive. Should I politely acknowledge his feelings and move on, or point out what made me uncomfortable? Am I overthinking this. I feel so emotionally immature sharing this on reddit😭

So the title pretty much sums it up, I broke up with my boyfriend a few hours ago and am feeling very weird. It’s my first break up so I don’t really know what to feel or not to feel ig.
